Hi. My name is Rick. I am an Instructor of Graphic Design at Oregon State University, as well as a graphic design practitioner for advertising, print, web, and books. The latter has been my primary focus for the past ten years: Literary fiction, science and historical fiction, horror, essays.

I am equally at home designing for the screen. I am a front-end web-developer having planned, designed and coded sites for hospitals, financial consultants, and academic institutions.

Projects I've led or contributed to have been recognized by the design industry, as well industry-specific awards. In 2015, I was awarded a second GD USA Award for an academic brochure I completed for Cal Poly Humboldt. Seen above.
